Flavia Mazzanti ist eine Multimedia-Künstlerin mit Sitz in Wien und São Paulo, die an der Schnittstelle von postfotografischen und audiovisuellen Arbeiten tätig ist. Ihre Praxis erforscht das dynamische, post-anthropozentrische Zusammenspiel von Beziehungen, Verbindungen und Verflechtungen zwischen uns und unserer hybriden Umgebung. Dabei zeigt sie auf, wie persönliche Wahrnehmungen und fragmentierte Erinnerungen unser Selbstverständnis und die Orte, die wir bewohnen, fortwährend neu formen.
Aufgeführt in der Forbes 30 Under 30 Liste von 2023, schloss Flavia 2020 ihr Studium an der Akademie der bildenden Künste Wien mit Auszeichnung ab und erhielt den Gustav-Peichl-Preis für Architekturzeichnung sowie den Würdigungspreis für künstlerische Arbeit. Ihre Arbeiten wurden weltweit auf zahlreichen nationalen und internationalen Ausstellungen und Festivals gezeigt und ausgezeichnet, darunter das Ars Electronica Festival (Linz, AT), DIG Shibuya (Tokio, JP), Museum Kunst Haus Wien (Wien, AT), FILE Festival (São Paulo, BR), Digital Arts Festival (Zürich, CH) und das Athens Digital Arts Festival (Athen, GR).
Ihre Arbeiten wurden auf Billboards am ikonischen Shibuya Scramble Crossing in Tokio gezeigt und sind Teil der permanenten Sammlung des Wien Museums in Wien sowie verschiedener privater Sammlungen.

Flavia Mazzanti is a multimedia artist based in Vienna and São Paulo, working at the intersection of post-photographic and audio-visual work. Her practice explores the dynamic, post-anthropocentric interplay of relations, interconnections, and entanglements between us and our hybrid surroundings, unfolding how personal perceptions and fragmented memories constantly reshape our sense of self and the places we inhabit.
Listed in the Forbes 30 Under 30 List of 2023, Flavia graduated with distinction at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna in 2020, receiving the Gustav Peichl Award for architectural drawing and the Würdigungspreis for artistic work. Her works have been shown and awarded at multiple national and international exhibitions and festivals worldwide, among others the Ars Electronica Festival (Linz, AT), DIG Shibuya (Tokyo, JP), Museum Kunst Haus Wien (Vienna, AT), FILE Festival, (São Paulo, BR), Digital Arts Festival (Zurich, CH), Athens Digital Arts Festival (Athens, GR).
Her works have been screened on billboards at the iconic Shibuya Scramble Crossing in Tokyo, and are part of the permanent collection of the Wien Museum in Vienna, and of various private collections.
